The Ruby Red Ventures – Build Mission Fund fosters entrepreneurship, supports economic growth and resiliency, and promotes innovation for small businesses in Mission.

This Mission Economic Development Corporation grant program will assist existing small businesses in Mission with operation sustainability, facility improvements, expansions, working capital, and job retainment and creation.

Ruby Red Ventures – Build Mission Fund will award grants of up to $15,000 per applicant. The program’s online portal will open on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and close on Wednesday, November 1, 2024, by close of business.

Eligibility

• 
  Located within the Mission city limits, (see map).
  
• Fewer than 30 employees and less than $1M in annual revenue
• Must be legally registered and in good standing with local tax entities
• In operation for at least two years and possess tax returns for the last two years
• Provide a detailed project plan with verified cost estimates and a timeline
• Submit a completed application to the Mission EDC

Grant Guidelines

• Businesses may apply for up to $15,000 in grant funding.
• The grant award will be based on the project plan, cost estimates, and applicant’s need.
• One application per business
• Each application received will be reviewed on its own merit
• Consideration will be given to applicants regarding:

• Job Creation/Retainment
• Innovation/Strategy for Growth
• Facility/Building Improvement
• Community Enhancement
• Uniqueness
• Demonstration of need
