Wayland Baptist University Offers Classes at CEED Building 

The Mission Economic Development Corporation welcomed Wayland Baptist University to its Center for Education and Economic Development, known as the CEED Building, on May 4, 2023.

Founded in 1908, Wayland Baptist University is considered one of the nation’s top Christian universities. It is headquartered in Plainview, Texas, but it now offers courses in Mission through a partnership with Mission EDC that established a new classroom at the CEED Building.

The new classroom is a significant step forward in the center’s mission to provide accessible and affordable education to students in the Rio Grande Valley. It is equipped with the latest technology, and the university will offer a range of programs to cater to the diverse needs of students in the region.
